Finding a great local beer can create fun memories and also expand your horizons to some new flavors. You never know what you might find. When you visit the Columbia Valley, check out a brewery that’s been creating a variety of ales since 2012. Go spend some time in their 1950s gastown taproom! They have alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, and they also offer up a variety of snacks. It’s just a short trip up the road from the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and is a great option for an afternoon or evening out. I sampled every beer purely for scientific purposes. Someone has to do it. I personally favored the Berries of the Night which is a Raspberry Wheat Ale. They use actual raspberry puree and zero extracts, sweeteners, or flavourings. It was surprisingly not sweet and really refreshing.
